DANTE ELSNER (1920 - 1996)
Polish Jewish Emigre Artist
A Polish Jew survivor of the Holocaust, Dante Elsner arrived in London in the late 1950s and slowly carved out in solitude his own unique spiritual vision for his art inspired by Eastern religions such as Sufism and Buddhism as well as the teachings of Armenian mystic and philosopher, G.I. Gurdjieff.
